Group coaching via The Pathway Method Plus is for women struggling with mild disordered eating, not an eating disorder. This distinction is critical in keeping group coaching a safe space for participants.

Therapy is an amazing tool. There are many gifted therapists, and depending on where you’re at with your journey, therapy, coaching, or a combination of both may be the best fit.
Here are the key differences:
Therapy is trauma-informed, often focusing on the past and understanding emotions. It can help you identify why you developed disordered eating, and that awareness is an important first step. Coaching focuses on taking action toward your goals with structured guidance and forward momentum.
Therapy is often open-ended and focused on talking through emotions, this program is a structured, goal-oriented experience with a clear, step-by-step roadmap.
Therapy is often once a week. Once the session is done, you’re left to navigate the week ahead alone. With The Pathway Method, I’m available to answer questions and offer encouragement Mon–Fri.
In my experience, therapy was helpful in figuring out why I developed an eating disorder and working through my childhood trauma. But when it came to actually improving my relationship with food, I felt stuck and lost.
I wanted someone who had recovered themselves to hold my hand and guide me on what to do step-by-step. I needed support often during the week to navigate triggers and roadblocks vs. a one-hour session once per week. I needed a coach and a mentor.
As someone who tends to over intellectualize and under feel, I was desperate for someone to explain why my brain and body reacted the way they did to food, and how to change it.
I believe many providers and programs underestimate people’s genuine interest and capability in learning the science behind their struggles. Perhaps to some, science doesn’t sell. But for me, learning more about the psychology, neuroscience, and biology of it all set me free.
The Pathway Method teaches you how your brain and body work, so you can rewire your brain, not just understand your struggles.
You’ll learn science-backed techniques and somatic tools to calm your nervous system to create lasting change in how you feel, respond, and act around food.

The program is self-paced, so please take the time you need to work through the materials. Some weeks you may have more time, others you have no time at all — that’s okay. I know we are all busy. That’s why I made the lessons and activities short and easy to implement!
To make progress, I recommend daily somatic practices and habits throughout the program that build upon one another. Whether you dedicate 15 minutes per day or 30 minutes per day to these activities, you’ll see progress. It just depends on how much transformation you want to achieve and how quickly.
